The high scenic quality of the River Murray valley, the Alexandrina and Albert Lakes and Coorong facing the ocean are the playground for motorgliders flying from Murray Bridge. Motorgliders offer the freedom to fly under power yet be able to shutdown the engine and enjoy the sound of the aircraft moving through the air. There are few better ways to take in the beauty of the River Murray than by flying over it, especially in a motorglider.
Fly with an instructor in a 2 seat G109 motorglider as the sole passenger, for 30 minutes. Depart from the Pallamana airfield, north of Murray Bridge township and return there at end of flight. Embarkation is at the aircraft parking area adjacent to the Windsock Lounge on the airfield.
What to Bring
- Wear trousers, enclosed shoes, hat and sunscreen
- friends can accompany you ‘airside’ (fluoro vests will be provided) so photos can be taken
Availability
Please book a time slot in advance, don't just turn up as we are very busy. The booking can be for most days of the week. Late morning or early afternoon is recommended.
Restrictions
Closer to the day, weather forecast (high winds, temperatures, rain) may mitigate against flying. Provide us with contact detail, we will advise you as many days in advance as we can to re-book.
